MUKTAMIL (4) resumed from a lay-off last start with a sound third over 7f at Pakenham. In the right race and is sure to prove hard to beat. RICH CURVES (13) started at 9/2 last time and ran below expectations, finishing sixth and beaten 4 lengths at Seymour over 1m2f. Meets a stronger field but she is worth another chance. CYCLONE CARA (10) finished fifth two runs back then did well last start but found one better over 1m1/2f at Sale, beaten only 0.8 lengths. Suitably placed so anticipating another big run. AKITU (1) has raced twice. Was fifth on debut then clocked-in half a length from the winner in second last time out over 7f at Werribee. Solid chance on what we have seen to date.
