BRUTAL EYES (2) clung on to finish third last start over 6f at Nowra, beaten 0. 6 lengths when resuming as favourite. Well placed and there is no reason she cannot take this out. SIR LUNCHALOTS (6) raced on the speed last start and battled on well but found one better over 6f at Nowra. Has been in sound form this prep with a win and a placing from four starts. Best form puts him right in this. CURIE (3) was in a different class last time out, settling well back before rounding up her rivals to score by 2. 75 lengths over 5½f at Mudgee. Will be tough to stop again. RANGATIRA (9) progressed nicely last start to finish a close second over 6f87yards at Orange after missing the placings at the previous appearance. Likely improver who looks sure to play a big role.
