Perfectly placed and is sure to play a pivotal role. BLAZING GURU (13) progressed nicely last time out to finish just a long neck from the winner in second over 1m at Donald after being in the firing line on the turn. Finds a tougher race but another big run will not surprise. TURGENEV (7) was out of the money two runs back then again missed the frame last start when he got a long way back over 1m at Gilgandra, beaten 4 lengths into sixth. Beautifully placed and is sure to take a ton of beating. XCEPTIONAL FELLA (14) was responsible for a better run last start, beaten 1. 75 lengths into fourth over 1m1/4f at Moruya. Likely improver with strong top-three prospects.
