BOMERTON (12) settled well back from a wide draw last time then wound up strongly to finish sixth over 6½f at Wagga. Outdashed but got home well and appears suited by the longer journey. Expected to prove tough to stop. BELNERA (6) just missed last time when a long neck away in second at Albury over 7½f. Leading player again. Set Weights EET TREATS (9) was out of the money two runs back then again missed the frame last start over 1m at Queanbeyan, beaten 2 lengths into sixth. Suitably placed so can turn things around.
