BRIAL ROSE (6) showed early speed from an outside draw last time then tired over the final stages to finish tenth, beaten 6 lengths, over 5f196yards at Gundagai. Sure to prove tough to rein in. MAGIC LEPRECHAUN (7) finished out of the money two starts back then was beaten 3 lengths when fourth in a 6f contest at Canberra a week-and-a-half ago. Must raise the bar but he has the ability to test this field. HELLINDA (5) finished second at Moruya two runs back but didn't measure up last time over 6f at Canberra, finishing 5.5 lengths back in ninth after being in the firing line on the corner. Meets a stronger field but he is good enough to take this out. SCOFFA (3) pushed forward from a wide draw last start and kept going to win by 1.75 lengths over 5f at Wagga. One of the main contenders.
