Has his share of ability. Hard to beat in this suitable race. SLATE RIPPER (7) doesn't win very often but ran a nice race last time out over 1m at Wagga, finishing fourth and beaten 1.75 lengths. Best figures measure up. Sure to run well. HAATHER (11) finished out of the money two starts back then was beaten 9 lengths when 12th in a 1m contest at Berrigan three-and-a-half weeks ago. Must raise the bar but he has the ability to test this field. LEICA TROOPER (5) returns from a lay-off of nine weeks and is having his first run for a new yard. Finished eighth at Bendigo over 6½f when when resuming last time in work.
