BEAUTY EDGE (1) proved too strong two runs ago at Dubbo. Couldn't follow that up last time out when ninth over 5f at Orange, beaten 3. 5 lengths. Finds the right race this time and can get the job done. ZAIBATSU (3) was too good for a maiden field when resuming last start over 4f at Narromine, scoring by a nose. Can go right on with the job now. THE DEFIANT ONE (4) doesn't win very often but ran a nice race last time out over 5f at Bowraville, finishing fourth and beaten 1. 75 lengths. Stepping up a level this time but on his best form he is capable of a big performance. ACOTANGO (5) has been out of the winner's list for a long time, last start finishing sixth at Gunnedah over 6¼f. Has the talent to take care of this field.
