POISED (12) is still a maiden after 11 starts. Could only manage to finish sixth last time out over 5f at Taree following a minor placing at Mildura over 5½f the run prior. Terrific chance to break through. SUNSET DRIVE (6) raced on the pace to the bend before fading to finish seventh, beaten 6 lengths, over this journey at Cowra. Expected to measure up here. Worth another try. BALLADORAN (9) never really threatened on debut, finishing midfield and beaten 10 lengths over 5½f at Narromine. Has scope for plenty of improvement. Worth including this line-up. JUKEBOX EDITION (1) was out of the money two runs back then again missed the frame last start over 6f at Quirindi, beaten 4 lengths into fourth. Capable of featuring prominently.
