VILLAINESS (10) finished second when resuming at Moree then couldn't repeat the dose last time when fourth at Gulgong over 5f when beaten 2. 75 lengths. Blinkers added this time. Best form stacks up nicely and deserves another chance. METEOR MIST (8) was out of the money on debut two runs back then again missed the frame last start over 6f at Tamworth, beaten 5 lengths into eighth. Nicely placed to get the prize. ABATED BREATH (1) did little and finished 6 lengths from the winner in 11th over 6f at Warren last start, a less impressive effort than his when resuming fourth at Parkes the run before. Ideally placed and is sure to play a pivotal role. SUNSET DRIVE (3) was beaten 6 lengths into eighth in a 7f contest at Gulgong two weeks ago. Likely improver with strong top-three prospects.
