Race Tip

PUBLIC DEFENDER (8) made it three victories in succession last start when she scored with plenty on hand over 1m1/2f at this track (Turf) five weeks ago. Winning rider Ben Curtis retains the mount. Going up a level this time but she deserves plenty of thought. THURSDAY GIRL (9) lines up on the back of a 2.75 lengths fourth over 1m1/2f at this track. Has a sound record here with three wins from five starts. Big run likely. VEHEMENTE (1) scored last start at Listed level at Saratoga (Dirt) to make it four wins and two placings from six starts this campaign. Likely to push forward and race on the pace. Capable of testing this field. WINFINITY (2) lines up on the back of a 0.3 lengths second over 1m1/2f at this track. Capable of playing a big role.
