Will enjoy a drop in class so he is a major player. SLIPPIN JIMMY (4) hadn't been far away prior to finishing 4.5 lengths adrift in eighth last start over 5½f at this track (Turf). Has a formidable record at this journey with six wins and seven placings from 18 starts and should be in the finish. MAXWELL ESQUIRE (7) failed to threaten when fresh from a lay-off last time out, beaten 7 lengths into tenth over 5½f at this track (Turf). Can do much better. PAEZ (1) did a great job to score by one length over this course and distance last start in a much improved run. This doesn't look as hard so he is perfectly placed to score again.
