DETERMINED KINGDOM (8) was in the firing line all the way and fought on for third last start over 5½f in the G2 Troy Stakes at Saratoga (Turf), making it three minor placings in a row. Has good early speed. Beautifully placed and is sure to take a ton of beating. WHENIGETTOHEAVEN (1) is back at the races for the first time since June 21. Worth noting he filled a minor placing when returning from a lay-off last prep over 5½f at Laurel. Rates highly and should take some beating. VIRGINIA FITZ (3) produced a good effort last start over this distance at this track (Turf), scoring by 0.8 lengths. Has a very good record here including two wins from three starts. Capable of running a big race. GOING UP (10) finished fifth last start over 5½f at Listed level at this track (Turf) after racing on the pace for much of the way. Can figure in the finish.
