COVERT KAT (2) was out of the money when resuming two runs back then again missed the frame last start over 1m at this track, beaten 2.5 lengths into sixth after being prominent at the bend. This is a nice drop in grade so he is set to turn things around. HOT BLOODED (7) is back from a lay-off of 11 weeks and does go well when fresh, including a win to launch last campaign over 1m1/4f at Gulfstream Park (Synthetic). Key runner. LIAR'S POKER (5) is yet to find his best figures in two runs this campaign, the latest finishing seventh over 1m1/2f at this track (Turf). Looks well placed here and rates an each way chance this time.
