Race Tip

FERAGO (1) is a talented jumper who has been in excellent form of late. Lines up for the hat-trick. Saluted (2m) at Warrnambool two runs back then again got the job done last time (2m1 1/2f) at Casterton, winning with 4 lengths in hand. In-form jumper who is a great chance to score again. FLASHLIGHT (3) was well in commission and turned in a nice effort last time out when he scored on his jumps debut in a hurdle (2m1 1/2f) at Casterton. Will be right in the finish. SPLIT (4) was very good when returning from a 228-day layoff most recently, finishing 6 lengths back in third on the flat at Casterton over 1m2f. That run was the first for the Patrick Payne stable. Will come on from that run and is worth considering. GAMBU (2) backs up just seven days after finishing fourth in a hurdle (2m1f) at Hamilton, beaten 22 lengths. That was on the back of a solid third in a 1m2 1/4f flat race two starts back. Expecting more this time.
