MATTHEW MARK (1) did little and finished 13 lengths from the winner in fifth over 1m2 1/4f at Mt Gambier last start, a less impressive effort than his fourth at Casterton the run before. Must raise the bar but this looks well within his grasp. OH SO THRILLING (15) progressed nicely last start to finish a close second over 7f at Mildura after missing the placings at the previous appearance. Well placed and there is no reason she cannot find winning ways. THE YACHTSMAN (11) fought on well for third last start over 1m at Echuca, making it two minor placings in a row. Expected to run well again. RESERVOIR DOG (8) has not won for a long while. Last raced on July 25 when beaten 4 lengths into fifth at Echuca over 1m after being handy for much of the way. Well placed and can fill a top-three spot.
