FLICK ROLL (6) used the low draw last time and bounced straight to the lead, turning in front before fading to finish fourth over 5½f at Ararat. The winkers have been removed for this and expected to be in the finish. TURFACTION (1) is a maiden galloper who hasn't raced since finishing 2.75 lengths back in fourth over 5f at Warracknabeal five months ago. Filled a minor placing in a recent Avoca trial. Set to run well. EXCITING TIMES (5) remains a maiden after 11 runs. Had plenty of admirers last time but could only manage to finish ninth over 5½f at Mortlake. Expected to feature in the finish this time. MUSKOGEE (2) is a three-start maiden who finished seventh, beaten 3.5 lengths, when resuming from a lay-off last start over 6f at Bairnsdale. Definite top-three hope with plenty of improvement to come.
