SEETHING CHUCK (3) improved sharply on his fourth two starts back at Port Macquarie with a win as public elect over 1m1f at Wauchope two weeks ago, getting home by a nose. Finds a tougher race but another win beckons. BATTLEDANCE (7) was in the money two starts back at Port Macquarie but couldn't back it up last time when seventh, beaten 4. 5 lengths, at Port Macquarie over 7½f after being in contention on the turn. Finds an easier assignment and can get the job done. EASTOWIN (10) has switched yards since finishing eighth a week-and-a-half ago over 1m3 3/4f at Grafton. One of the genuine hopes in the race. DOWN THE KOOKA (4) was in the money two starts back at Dubbo but was unable to repeat the effort last time when sixth, beaten 7 lengths, at Scone over 1m. Has his share of talent and can do a lot better.
