CALL ME BASIL (3) showed good early speed last start on debut and fought on well to hold third, beaten 2.75 lengths, over 6f76yards at Taree. Likely improver who is expected to be in the finish. REDADEL (6) took advantage of the good draw last time and led for much of the way before being swamped in the run home, finishing ninth and beaten 5 lengths over 1m at Pakenham. Expected to be in this for a long way. LYKOS (11) was on debut last time out and did her best work late to finish fourth, beaten 1.4 lengths over 5f at Tuncurry. Suited by the longer trip and is worth including. RAINBOW LASS (14) turned in a strong run last time when she settled well back before running on hard to be beaten only a head into second over 5f at Ballina. Tough to stop again.
