IRISH BLISS (2) is close to breaking through after two consecutive placings, the latest coming when third over 6¾f at Wyong after being prominent from the outset. Has good early pace. Beautifully placed and is sure to take plenty of stopping. CATHAY BRACELET (6) finished fourth last start over 7½f at Kilcoy after racing on the pace for much of the way. Will be on the speed in transit and is expected to take some running down. OAKFIELD HAWK (3) gave away a big start at the top of the straight last start and finished 6 lengths from the winner in seventh over 1m at Taree. Cannot be ruled out in this suitable assignment. PUNJABI LANDING (4) debuted two-and-a-half weeks ago when he finished fifth over 7½f at Kilcoy, beaten 2 lengths. Should be thereabouts.
