SHADOWFAX (1) returned from a break with a eighth over 5f at Morphettville Parks, weakening right out of it after leading early. Expected to be in this for a long way. HASSLEFREE (2) missed the frame in a on turf over 5¼f at Balaklava but improved sharply on the dirt last time, scoring over 6f at Pooncarie. Has a decent record at this trip with three minor placings from four tries and is sure to run well. One of the chances based on her best recent efforts. BROADWAY LANE (9) turned in another moderate effort last start when 8 lengths from the winner in eighth over 6f at Balaklava. Well placed to turn things around.
