SO IMMACULATE (11) was close to a maiden win before a six-and-a-half months break, finishing off with a placing over 5½f at Murtoa. Ran tenth in a recent trial at Cranbourne. Ready for a bold run while fresh. SPIRIT OF FLIGHT (4) returns from a lay-off of nine months and is having her first run for a new yard. Finished fourth at Pakenham over 6f when when resuming last time in work. One of the better hopes despite the layoff. MISS PANTHERLOT (1) was out of the money two runs back then again missed the frame last start over 6f at Strathalbyn, beaten 2.5 lengths into fourth. Won't find this as tough so she is set to turn things around. VELVET FOX (12) is a first-starter by Foxwedge out of Lucky Flipper. Well held in a recent trial. One of the main contenders with the blinkers applied.
