LADY ORIENT (3) finished third when resuming two runs back at Fairgrounds (Dirt) then progressed nicely last time out to score by 4. 5 lengths as favourite over 1m at Fairgrounds Turf (Dirt). Jose Ortiz scored on her last time and retains the mount. Meets some better types this time but another big run will not surprise. SAINT NANCY S (5) turned in a nice effort to score two runs ago at Turfway Park. Couldn't follow that up last time out when fourth over 1m1/2f at Fairgrounds Turf, beaten 9 lengths after being prominent at the turn. Taking on a better line-up this time but she cannot be underestimated. BARBRATINA (2) is resuming from a break of a year for a new stable after finishing 11th over 1m at this track (Dirt) at her latest outing. Good fresh performer with a win and two minor placings from four runs. Bold showing expected. CHAMPAGNE NIGHTS (1) showed good early speed last start before boxing on well and finishing third, beaten 13 lengths, over this trip at Turfway Park (Synthetic). Meets some better types this time but a win is not out of the question.
