BARB (3) was an impressive maiden winner last time out, scoring by 7 lengths over 1m at this track (Dirt). Nicely drawn and he is likely to feature in the finish again. TRE ITALIANI (5) finished fifth two runs back then did well last start but found one better over 6f at Hawthorne, beaten only 1. 3 lengths after being in the firing line on the turn. Must raise the bar but another big run will not surprise. JOHNY'S RENDEZVOUS (9) settled well back last start and never threatened when 8 lengths from the winner in eighth over 1m1f at this track (Turf). Looks well placed so expect a better run this time. ORIGINAL SIN (1) turned in a fine effort to score by 1. 3 lengths at this course and distance when resuming from a break last start. Likely to be there at the finish again.
