GILDED RULER (3) was never in contention when 9 lengths from the winner in 11th over 6½f at Kentucky last start, a less impressive effort than his sixth at Ellis Park the run before. Finds an easier assignment and can turn things around. AMERICAN XPERIMENT (6) has registered three minor placings from four runs this campaign. Produced another good performance at his most recent run when second over 6f at this track (Dirt) after he was handy all the way. Nicely placed to play a pivotal role. PAIR OF SOCKS (2) returned from a lay-off two months ago when he was beaten 9 lengths into sixth over 6f at Horseshoe Indianapolis. Fitter so anticipating a better run this time.
