TOP GUN TOMMY (4) showed little early speed last start and failed to come on in the straight when ninth, beaten 13 lengths, over 6f at this track (Dirt). Well placed and there is no reason he cannot find winning ways. AMERICAN OUTLAW (5) missed the frame last time when fifth at Ellis Park. Prior to that had been in the money on two consecutive occasions. Has good early toe so he should be handy in the run. Will prove tough to beat. PENROD (2) has switched yards since finishing third two weeks ago over 6½f at this track. Has found a suitable race and is worth including. PRINCIP (3) is back at the races for the first time since June 21. Worth noting he filled a minor placing when returning from a lay-off last prep over 6f at this track. Comes here with definite top-three claims.
