LAUGHNOWCRYLATER (2) showed good early dash and raced on the speed last start before fading to finish 4 lengths back in sixth over 1m at Ellis Park (Dirt). Will be handy in the run and should prove hard to run down. EVENING NEWS (8) has been out of the winner's list for a long time, last start finishing fourth at Ellis Park (Dirt) over 1m after being in contention on the bend. It doesn't get any easier but on his best form he is capable of testing his rivals. EXCEL CALCULATOR (4) couldn't have been more impressive when resuming last start when he scored by 3 lengths over 1m at Del Mar (Dirt). Will be better for that latest run and he can measure up again.
