MARTINGALE (7) has registered two minor placings from three runs this campaign. Turned in another good performance last start when second over 6f at Oaklawn Park (Dirt) after she was handy all the way. Finds a tougher race but a win is not out of the question. OCEAN RIPPLE (6) impressed last time out at the second run of the campaign and finished 5 lengths from the winner in second over 1m at Gulfstream Park. Steps up a level but she is worth serious consideration. WELL AWARE (9) resumed from a lay-off last start with a sound second over 6½f at Gulfstream Park (Dirt) after being in the firing line on the bend. Must raise the bar but a win is not out of the question. DIDN'T IT RAIN (2) is a two-start maiden who resumed from a lay-off last start and was beaten 2.75 lengths when seventh over 5½f at Fairgrounds (Turf). Bold showing expected with added fitness this time.
