PIKE PLACE (4) scored a 4 length win on dirt at Horseshoe Indianapolis two starts back but then disappointed on turf last time at Kentucky over 1m when 9 lengths from the winner in tenth. Strong record with J R Leparoux in the irons, including a win. Sure to run well. THUNDERIAN (3) started at 2/1 last time and ran below expectations, finishing fifth and beaten 12 lengths at Finger Lakes (Dirt) over 1m. This looks a sterner test than last time but on his best form he is one of the key runners. HUGE BIGLY (8) returns after a lay-off of ten weeks. Started the last campaign in good style when in the placings over 1m1/2f at this track. Among the better hopes. FOWLER BLUE (7) was beaten 11 lengths into seventh in a 1m1/2f contest at Horseshoe Indianapolis last time out. Well placed and can figure in the finish this time.
