Group 2 placegetter NASH (6) did a good job last start to finish second in the G2 Pat Day Mile Stakes at this track (Dirt) over 1m, beaten 1.3 lengths. Has been in super form this time in work, finishing in the money at each of his seven starts. Should prove tough to beat. WHO DEY (2) racing on turf for the first time. Finished second when resuming then came up against a tougher field than this last time in a Group 2 when fourth, beaten 1.4 lengths over 1m at this track. Back a level after tackling a tougher race last time. Sure to run well. Group 1 placegetter NEXT LEVEL (9) showed little early speed then came with a powerful run to finish third last time out over 1m1 1/2f at this track (Dirt). Stiffer assignment here but he should be very competitive. Group 2 placegetter NORTHERN FLAME (1) was unplaced two runs back then again missed the frame last start over 1m at this track, beaten 6 lengths into ninth. Better than recent efforts suggest.
