Group 1 winner LAST CALL (2) doesn't have the best strike rate but ran a strong race when resuming from a lay-off last time out over 1m1f at Keeneland (Turf), finishing fourth and beaten 1.75 lengths. Has her share of ability. Hard to beat in this suitable race. JOHANNY (4) was comfortably accounted for when third last time out over 1m1/4f at Gulfstream Park, beaten 4 lengths. SPARTAN QUEEN (7) finished second at Fairgrounds two runs back but didn't measure up last time over 1m1/2f at Fairgrounds (Turf), finishing 9 lengths back in eighth. Nicely placed to make amends.
