SCOTLAND (3) resumes after a break of seven months. Trying to repeat his debut win over 7f at Gulfstream Park to kick off last prep. Best fresh figures put him right in this. ANGKOR (6) is having his first run since November 23. Has never missed the top-three at the start of his campaigns, and he did win over 6½f at Ellis Park at the start of last prep. Has found a suitable race to kick off the campaign. GILCREASE (2) started this campaign with a win two runs ago. Couldn't follow that up last time out when fourth over 5½f at Fairgrounds, beaten 3.5 lengths after being in contention on the turn. J R Leparoux is a key engagement. This looks a sterner test than last time but on his best form he is capable of a big performance. CLOSETHEGAME SUGAR (4) is a promising galloper who got the prize at his last run before a break eight months ago over 6f at Presque Isle Downs (Synthetic). Has a strong record when resuming, including two wins. Should be poised just off the lead. Don't underestimate.
