BARNABY (6) is back from a lay-off of 11 weeks. Closed last prep with a fifth, beaten 8 lengths, over 1m at Fairgrounds. A bold showing is expected. STEP ON IT (1) finished out of the money two starts back then was beaten 3 lengths when fourth in a 1m contest at Turfway Park a month ago. Meeting a tougher field but on his best form he is capable of a big performance. BEER WITH ICE (3) broke through for his maiden win over 1m1/4f at Fairgrounds (Dirt) last time, scoring comfortably. Is lightly raced and has plenty of scope for improvement. Shaping up nicely and he looks sure to be in the mix. ONEPARTICULRHARBOR (8) hasn't been able to break through for an extended period, the latest effort a 12th over 1m at Turfway Park (Synthetic). Facing a tougher assignment but he is good enough to take this out.
