PROTEST RALLY (1) went well past two outings including a 0.5L second at Ripon last week over 5f. Leading chance. LOUIS TREIZE (6) drops back 1f in trip since running 3L sixth here also last week. Not far off in recent starts. Consider. GUNNERSIDE (3) is yet to find form from last spring. Could improve on previous two attempts against this smaller field. CAPTAIN BENTLEY (5) is still a maiden. Was 7L fifth over the distance at Bath ten days ago. Will need to find more but could go closer here.
