The former is now effectively 7lb better off at the weights now when taking into account the riders claims and has the bonus of being a previous course and distance winner. He can reverse the placings although the latter must be respected from the inside draw in gate one. Fellow previous track and trip winner ALMATY STAR (5) was a good second here following three months off a week ago and cannot be ignored off the same mark. DIOMED SPIRIT (6) dug deep to win at Lingfield AW three weeks ago and should be involved once more.
