DIXIELAND BLUES (9) finished with subsequent winners behind when shedding the maiden tag at Southwell earlier in the season. The three year old trained by Simon and Ed Crisford was by no means disgraced when sixth among stronger company at the same venue last time out. Could be the one to beat down in grade off a 2lb lower mark. CRACK SHOT (3) holds fair form and looks interesting with Jamie Spencer booked for his stable debut. BRIGHT TIMES AHEAD (8) weakened badly running last of five over this distance at Haydock last start. Might do better switching to handicaps with her sights lowered. Others to note include BIJOUX (10) and BORGI (1).
