ESSENTIALLY GOLD (6) returns from a lay-off of nine weeks. Was safely held at the only appearance last prep when seventh over 1m at Turfway Park (Synthetic). Has ability and should be right in the finish. HIDDEN FAVOR (8) made progress last time out, finishing 4 lengths from the winner in second at the end of 6½f at this track after being prominent at the turn. Nicely placed to feature in the finish. MOMBO JUMBO (5) is a three-year-old colt who is having his first run for the Timothy Shanley stable. Resumes after finishing fourth at Mahoning Valley (Dirt) at his last run three-and-a-half months ago. Hasn't trialled publicly but looks nicely placed. Leading player expected to feature. MAC DADDYNESS (9) is returning from a lay-off of six-and-a-half months. Finished fifth at Delaware Park (Dirt) over 5½f at the first run last prep. Now with a new trainer Kevin J Joy.
