HOPE'S ALIVE (5) was never in contention when 18 lengths from the winner in seventh over 1m1/2f at this track last start, a less impressive effort than his fourth at Parx the run before. Tackling a more suitable race this time so he is one of the main contenders. ICETECA (4) has been thereabouts lately without being able to break through, the latest effort a second at this track (Dirt) over 1m1/2f. Overdue and looks a top chance. GAME KEEPER (6) settled well back at this course and distance last time but did find the line nicely to finish fourth, beaten 5 lengths. Worth including. STRIVE FOR STRIDE (8) ran a better race last start to finish sixth over 7f at this track (Dirt), beaten 9 lengths. Tackles a longer journey this time around and is worth plenty of thought.
