BEACHES AND PEARLS (2) started at 11/2 last time and ran below expectations, finishing eighth and beaten 34 lengths at Laurel (Dirt) over 1m. Finds a more suitable contest and can make amends. IMPETUS ECHO (4) proved too strong last start and scored by 0. 3 lengths over 7f at this track (Dirt). Has a good record at this track with two wins and two minor placings. Can measure up again. EMPIRE'S TREAT (5) is usually thereabouts but finds it hard to win, with only one victory from 24 starts. Again tasted defeat last start when fifth over 7f at this track, beaten 4. 5 lengths. Nicely placed to play a major role. TALBOT HEIRLOOM (6) showed good early speed over 6½f at this track (Dirt) last time and went on to salute by half a length. Is in solid form this time in work, scoring two times and placing on six occasions from 10 starts. Don't underestimate.
