Strong chance to kick the campaign off on the right note. LOVE TO EAT (6) lines up on the back of a 13 length fourth over 6½f at this track. Hard to go past. HOT FUDGE WARRIOR (3) failed to run a strong 5f last start after a close second over 4f at Timonium (Dirt) the run prior. Better suited at this shorter trip so should be competitive. SMALLTOWNSMOKESHOW (4) turned in a better run last start, beaten 2. 75 lengths into fourth over 4½f at this track. Suitably placed so can turn things around.
