COSTNER (4) is returning from a lay-off of eight months. Finished seventh at Turfway Park (Synthetic) over 1m at the first run last prep. Now with a new trainer. One of the better hopes despite the layoff. ORANGE JUICE (7) turned in an eye-catching run over 6½f at this track (Dirt) last time, ridden back before coming home with a powerful run to finish third. Will be tough to stop again. CANDYLAND PHIL (5) is a last-start winner two weeks ago, scoring by one length over 6½f at this track. Serious contender.
