KING KONTIE (4) returns after a lay-off of three-and-a-half months. Started the last campaign in good style when in the placings over 5½f at Mountaineer Park. Has ability and should be right in the finish. DORADO (9) was handy on straightening and went on to finish second last start over 6½f at this track (Dirt), beaten 1.5 lengths when resuming. Looks well placed so expect another forward display. YOUTHFUL ENERGY (8) was comfortably accounted for when fourth last time out over 6½f at this track, beaten 7 lengths. That followed a win at this track at the previous outing. Maximo Chilo gets the best out of this three-year-old gelding. Nicely placed to return to winning form. CECIL THE GREAT (2) finished second two runs back at this track (Dirt) then improved last time out to score by 0.3 lengths over 7f at this track (Dirt). Nicely placed to make it two on the bounce.
