HARDLY EVER BETTER (7) produced a good run two starts back to finish third but disappointed last time when out of the placings at this track (Dirt) over the same trip after he had settled well back. Has a good record at this course and distance, including two wins. Ideally placed and is sure to prove tough to beat. DEVIL'S CANYON (4) comes here off a break of three months. Worth noting he filled a minor placing when returning from a lay-off last time in work over 4½f at this track. Has ability and should be right in the finish. CHARITABLE WINDSOR (5) finished seventh two runs back then improved last start but found a couple better over 4½f at this track, beaten 2 lengths after being in contention on the turn. Finds a suitable race and can go on to take this out. ESTRELLA FUGAZ (1) was a determined winner two runs back then raced on the speed last time before finishing fourth over 4½f at this track (Dirt). Has good early toe so he should be handy in the run. Don't underestimate.
