CURB THAT TIGER (9) looks close to a win, the latest effort a strong second, beaten 2 lengths, over 6½f at this track (Dirt). Looks sure to be in the finish again. THUNDERHOUSE (2) last appeared six weeks ago over 6½f at this track when he finished fourth. This is his first run for the Jack Hurley stable. One of the genuine hopes in the race. LOVETHEBAND (3) settled well back and turned in a mediocre run last time out over 4½f at this track (Dirt) after a nice win the start prior. Beautifully placed and is sure to be there at the finish. ASTRAYAL (5) showed little early speed last start then picked up the bit in the straight to finish third at this track (Dirt) over this journey. Has a win and four minor placings at this journey from seven starts and is among the main hopes.
