EPIMELES (4) finished off last campaign with a 11th in the G3 Caulfield Guineas Prelude at this track and has been gelded during the break. Fitter for a trial win at Caulfield Heath. Looks the one to beat. KING TUT (12) was responsible for a solid effort last time out when second at Sandown-Lakeside over 6f, beaten a neck. Cherry-ripe now. Top strike rate at the journey with two wins and two placings from four starts and is one of the major players. KA YING CHEER (2) scored last start at this track to make it three wins from three starts this campaign. Certainly worth following up. WOLFY (6) was ridden quietly from a good draw last start before closing nicely to get up for fourth over 5½f at Flemington. Warrants plenty of respect.
