BUCKAROO (2) settled towards the tail then wound up strongly to finish 0. 8 lengths away in second when resuming last start over 7f in the G1 Futurity Stakes at this track. Yet to miss the top three here in six starts. Right in this. BIRDMAN (5) gave away a start then stormed home to win over 1m in the G2 Blamey Stakes at Flemington last time out. Likely to feature. LIGHT INFANTRY MAN (1) was given a short break after winning over 1m in the G3 TS Carlyon Cup at this track. Kept ticking over since that run with a trial at Cranbourne. Worth plenty of thought. CHIEF LITTLE ROCK (7) is a five-year-old gelding who is having his first run for the Anthony & Sam Freedman barn and gelded since last run. Hasn't raced since finishing 12th in the G2 King Edward VII Stakes at Ascot 21 months ago. Fitter for a trial win at Cranbourne and looks well placed. Not to be underestimated.
