AMBASSADORIAL (3) ran on strongly but just failed to pick up the winner last start over 1m1f at Flemington. Will derive great benefit from recent racing. Nicely placed to go one better. BLUESTONE (1) returns from a lay-off of five-and-a-half months and did win when resuming last time in work over 1m2f at Mornington. Fitter for a sixth in a recent trial over 7f at Cranbourne. One of the genuine hopes in the race. I ONLY WISH (4) built on a nice second two starts back at Flemington with a win as public elect over 1m2f at Pakenham two weeks ago, getting home by 1. 3 lengths. Luke Currie scored on her last time and retains the ride. Meeting a tougher field but on current form she is capable of testing her rivals. HURRY CURRY (6) has not won for a long while. Last raced on January 23 when beaten 2 lengths into fourth at Pakenham over 1m2f after she gave away a big start. Good enough on her day and can play a prominent role.
