Finished sixth when fresh from a lay-off two starts back at Sandown-Lakeside then improved and scored as public elect over 5½f at this track three weeks ago, getting home by a nose after being prominent at the corner. Finds a tougher race but he has the ability to test this field. MATISSE (9) came home soundly to finish sixth when resuming over 5½f at Flemington last time out. Usually performs well with that run under her belt. Blinkers come off second up. Fitter so a bold showing is likely. SHE'S GOT PIZZAZZ (3) was ridden quietly then made some inroads and finished 2.5 lengths away in sixth last time out over 5f at Flemington when resuming from a lay-off as 5/2 favourite.
