BOLTSAVER (13) finished 4 lengths away in seventh last time out over 6f at Benalla two-and-a-half weeks ago. Steps up in distance. Up a notch here but expected to measure up. NEW YORK HURRICANE (1) was comfortably accounted for when seventh last time out over 1m2 1/4f at Moonee Valley, beaten 3.5 lengths. That followed a win at Morphettville at the previous outing. It doesn't get any easier but on his best form he is capable of testing his rivals. When resuming over 7f at sandown-hillside, beaten 6 lengths. Settles back early but winds up late. Will prove tough to stop. PRIVATE JUMBO (9) is experiencing a long win drought, extended last start when eighth over 7f at Benalla after being handy for much of the way. Placed to advantage so expect a bold run.
