Will enjoy a drop in class so he is one of the main contenders. GENERAL FIREPOWER (9) scored two runs back then was popular with punters last time but could only manage to finish ninth over the same trip at Sale after he was in contention on the turn. Needs to be at his best to beat this field but he is good enough to play a major role. AWAPUNI PRINCESS (16) made considerable ground in the run home to finish third last start over 6½f at Sandown-Hillside. Key runner who can get home hard into the finish. Lay-off. Best efforts measure up so worth another chance.
