LAKE VOSTOK (3) has been out of the winner's list for a long time, last start finishing fifth at Flemington over 1m. Needs to be at her best to beat this field but she is up to the challenge. HI VAL (8) finished second two runs back at Bendigo then improved last time out to score by 1. 3 lengths as favourite over 7f at Sandown-Hillside. Nicely placed to give this a mighty shake.
